NFL Conference Championship Picks (Draft Kings)

Four teams remain in the 2020 NFL Playoffs, which means the competition is as stiff as we’ve seen all season long. All of these teams have viable DFS options but the tricky part is going to be to predict how these games will finish. I know that I’ve been surprised by how some of these games have played out, so I’m going to give you my favorite play at each position for this Sunday’s games and hope that they turn out the way that I’d like them to.

QB

Jimmy Garoppolo - $5,200:

I feel that Jimmy G is the second-best option at quarterback this week, and he just happens to be the least expensive. The 49ers are home favorites against the Packers, with an implied total of 26.25. In the divisional round against the Vikings, the 49ers leaned on the running attack to win that game. This week I think that we’ll see Garoppolo throw the ball more than 19 times against a Packers defense that allowed 250 passing yards per game this season.

Secondary Option = Ryan Tannehill - $5,500

RB

Derrick Henry - $8,700:

Ok, so it’s not the sneaky contrarian play here, but it’s the best play. Henry has put this team on his back and has carried them throughout the playoffs, beating two of the top three teams in the AFC in the Patriots and the Ravens. Over his last three games, Henry has rushed for at least 180 yards in each of them. This season, the Chiefs are giving up 109 rushing yards per game, ranking 29th in the league in run defense DVOA.

Secondary Option = Raheem Mostert - $4,300

WR

Tyreek Hill - $7,200/Sammy Watkins - $4,600:

This is a two for one kind of deal, and I’m going back to well with Watkins this week. The reason I have both Chiefs receivers here is that they both play about 50 percent of snaps in the slot, though Hill is the primary slot receiver. I love these matchups against the Titans because, throughout these playoffs, the Titans defenders have allowed slot receivers to gain 251 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Secondary Option = Corey Davis - $4,000

TE

George Kittle - $5,800:

Kittle is $1,300 less than Kelce, which is one reason why I like this play so much. Kittle is seeing about eight targets per game this year for 75 yards. He’s also one of the better tight ends when it comes to yards after the catch, averaging seven YAC/R. Kittle was also third in the league among tight ends in red-zone targets with 16 this season. The talent along with the value makes Kittle an easy play this Sunday.

Secondary Option = Jimmy Graham - $3,700
