Dynasty Fantasy Football Buy Now
As we gear up for a brand new fantasy football season, a lot of dynasty owners are searching for players that they can acquire before their value jumps during the season.
Dynasty is all about timing and hitting on the player when other owners perceive him to be less valuable than you.
Here are three players I believe will have a significant fantasy impact in 2019, meaning you won’t be able to get them at a discounted price during or after the season. Start sending your offers now and reap the rewards in 2019 and beyond.
Kenny Golladay, WR, DET
Some are calling Kenny Golladay" Baby Megatron" which is a lot for a player to live up to that nickname. The former Northern Illinois University wideout had solid 2018 and Golladay should be able to build on that for 2019.
Golladay had 119 targets which he turned into 70 receptions for 1,053 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Now that Golden Tate is gone, Golladay is all but certain to be the WR1 in Detroit. With Matthew Stafford at QB, he and Golladay are an under the radar QB/WR duo for 2019.
In 2018 Golladay ranked as the WR21 and ranked 54th overall in fantasy football with 137 total fantasy points. With only being in the NFL for two years, 2019 is for sure to take the next step and possibly move into the top 15 wide receivers by the end of 2019.
Golladays Current ADP is 4.10 (PPR Based), which is a WR2 status in fantasy. Golladay will most likely play out of that ADP and end up producing as a WR1, and that turns into a great value pick if you manage on drafting Golladay in the fourth round or even if you get lucky and select him a round later.
Players currently being drafted at or around Golladay are Robert Woods and Chris Godwin who are likely going to produce low-end WR2 and high-end WR3 production for 2019. To select Golladay at or around those two is a major steal for anyone.
Nick Chubb, RB, CLE
The former Georgia RB shined once he got the opportunity. The Cleveland Browns started Chubb in nine games and boy he did not disappoint. Finishing the 2018 season with 996 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on 192 attempts was a small sample size.
Now undoubtedly the starting RB for the Browns in 2019, the time to buy Chubb is now. He will most likely outplay his ADP and end up playing like a first-round RB for fantasy, but if you choose to wait and trade for him, it is going to be tough to get your hands on him later. My moto is dynasty is " I would rather be a day early than a day late" when I am selling my pieces.
Chubb is a crucial part of anyone's team that is looking to add youth and sustainability to their roster. Ranking 15th overall in fantasy football is incredible, knowing that Chubb started only nine games. The Browns bruiser finished the 2018 season ranked 40th overall as a fantasy player and scored 175 total fantasy points.
Current ADP (PPR Based) is 2.10, other players being drafted at or near Chubb is Melvin Gordon at 2.08 and Aaron Jones at 3.03. Now Gordon is in a tough position as he is threatening to hold out for the entire 2019 season. Aaron Jones, on the other hand, should not be drafted near Nick Chubb as we never know what the Green Bay Packers will do at the RB position with Jones and Jamaal Williams being in the same backfield. It appears as if Jones will be the lead RB, but Chubb is a far superior back than Jones. Chubb should play into a first-round RB by the end of the 2019 season.
Do yourself a favor and go buy Chubb now. He will most likely finish as a top 10 RB for 2019 and depending on the state of you dynasty franchise trade a player that has made a name for himself, and that is up in age. Now remember, "I would rather be a day early than a day late."
Will Fuller, WR, HOU
Now, as you are reading this, you are most likely saying “what”? let me explain why I like the former Notre Dame wideout for 2019. When Houston Texans star quarterback Deshaun Watson throws the ball deep, it's usually Will Fuller who ends up on the other side of an 80-yard touchdown.
In 2017 Fuller only played in 10 games before being injured and had 423 receiving yards with seven touchdowns and in 2018 Fuller played in only seven games and had 503 receiving yards with four touchdowns.
The biggest issue with Fuller is health and he must stay healthy for 2019 if he is to produce the type of fantasy numbers we all know that he can. Fuller had 85 total fantasy points in 2017 and 74 in 2018. Ranking 48th at his position in 2017 and 65th as a WR in 2018.
Fuller's current ADP (PPR Based) has him being drafted around players like Arizona Cardinals Christian Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald. draft Fuller over both because most fantasy players will always tie injuries to Fuller which will in return cause his ADP fall. The difference is when Fuller and Watson are both on the field, magic happens.
Trading for Fuller should not be expensive at all. many fantasy players will not even think twice to trade Fuller, you have to be the smart one to capitalize on that. Try offering a low 2020 draft pick for the Texans barn burner of a WR. Fuller is a low end WR3 with a high-end WR2 for 2019. Go out and grab Fuller now before it’s too late.
